Asia / America New Music Institute (AANMI) and the USC Pacific Asia Museum partner to present violinist Rachel Lee Priday and conductor Yuga Cohler, in performances of new works by composers from around the United States and Asia.
Preconcert talk begins at 6:15pm, with composers Matt Aucoin, Garth Neustadter, and Peter Golub. Moderated by composer and AANMI founder Chad Cannon.
Concert begins at 7pm.
Private fundraiser concert for the Asia / America New Music Institute (AANMI), featuring world-class violinist Rachel Lee Priday, conductor Yuga Cohler, composers Chad Cannon, Matt Aucoin, Peter Golub, and Garth Neustadter, and a septet. Refreshments will be served. The event is free, but donations of any size are appreciated. All funds will go towards supporting AANMI's programs in Asia and the United States.

For one night only, 5 Every Day reimagines the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum as a science-skewed creative salon, inviting artists, musicians, and filmmakers to stage pop-up interventions and performances throughout the Museum space. Guests can explore the grounds, drink cocktails among the fossils, and grab eats from handpicked food trucks.
